Office Staff

Technically the District doesn't have a staff of its own. However, there are 3 employees who work out of the District office. Stephanie McAlexander; office secretary, and Benton James; engineering technician are employed by the county. Brad Denton; District Conservationist and Joey Ferguson; Soil Conservationist are employed by the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), an agency of the United States Department of Agriculture. The four employees work as a team to conserve the soil and soil related natural resources of rural Madison County as is directed by the District Board of Supervisors.
